then, stopped by the lqs for thread to do the flower stems on my 1600 race top ... and i did work that up and finished the top just as soon as i got home [after i had a good cuppa and browsed through that book.]
but, you, know, when one is at the lqs for a spool of thread .... you can't resist a little walk around the shop, so i brought this home, too. batiks!
and, since i was out and the day was sunny, albeit a little breezy, i thought i'd better gas my suv up. the gas was still sitting at 4.299 ... sigh. so, i'm done for the day.
Love that 1600 race quilt top - the applique looks just right on it - and so colorful.
