new mystery quilt clue

clue #3 came friday; saturday i went to work, happily cutting and was all set to sew ... when i - gasp- noticed, one of my fabric pieces disappeared into the focus fabric. 

so, i unpinned the dratted pieces, switched the fabrics for the pieces, cut new ones, sewed them up and presto!  new arrangement!

this is now the clue 3 block, and the new clue two block.  12 snowballs, 20 9patches.  

new resolution:  do not cut and sew quilt pieces without seeing the pattern as it should look.
